With the spring trail running season getting in to full swing, the Chester Woods races near Rochester, MN on June 5 are fast approaching.
This year’s event will feature a new course for the flagship 10 mile race while keeping the 5K course the same. In addition to stylish hats and dirty magazines for all participants, RD Jim Mason is promising a more festive atmosphere with the new start and finish areas closer together. It’s hard to imagine an even more festive atmosphere at a race that already features Burma Shave mile marker signs and post race dill pickles 🙂
I’ve run the 10 mile the past two years and had a blast! It’s a very well organized event put on by members of the Rochester Track Club.
If you want in on the fun, register before June 1 to save a few bucks. Race day registration is also available.
