Ahhhhhh spring! April is the time of year when the trail racing season begins in earnest up here in the North Woods. Most noteworthy of all of the spring time races are the ultra events.
April 10 is a particularly busy day this year:
Chippewa 50K & 10K (WI) under new leadership,
Zumbro 100 Mile (MN) in it’s second year with a slightly different course (sorry, but this is the only map available at press time – thanks Matt – and we’re getting down to the wire),
McNaughton 50 Mile & 100 Mile (no 150 this year) with a new RD (IL).
April 17 brings the Trail Mix 50K, 25K, and 50K team relay in suburban Minneapolis.
Good luck to those who are lacing ’em up and toeing the line! Get good and muddy out there 🙂
