The Upper Midwest Trail Runners have added a trail marathon series for 2012! This series includes 6 different trail marathons in 4 different states:
Deadwood Mickelson in South Dakota, Keyes Peak and Birkebiner in Wisconsin, Grand Island in Upper Michigan, and Half Voyageur and Moose Mountain (the only marathon I’ve ever run where the terrain was so steep I needed to use my hands) in Minnesota.
Heads up – Grand Island fills VERY early!
